Due to the issues and subjects addressed by the Center for Intelligence Studies, we have posted a series of Frequently Asked Questions below for the benefit of the interested public.

Is the Center for Intelligence Studies a government agency?

No. The Center for Intelligence Studies is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit educational foundation. It is not a part of, nor is it affilliated with, the United States Government or any U.S. Government Department, Agency or Bureau.

How is the Center for Intelligence Studies funded?

The Center is funded by contributions from the interested public. It has not solicited nor will it accept funding from the United States Government, or from any of the U.S. Government's Departments, Agencies, or Bureaus..

Are Contributions to the Center tax deductible?

Yes. Contributions to the Center are considered charitable contributions, and are therefore tax deductible.

Am I eligible to become a Member of the Center for Intelligence Studies?

Membership in the Center is open to all U.S. citizens and lawful residents, and to citizens of Allied Treaty Powers.

How may I join?

The Center requires a $25 per year membership contribution. If you you are qualified for membership and wish to join the CFIS, forward a contribution in that amount to our mailing address along with a brief note requesting membership. That address is:
