WHAT YOU CAN DO

A NEW GLOBAL CURRENCY - A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER

  • U.S. Treasurey Secretary "Open" to a New Global Currency

Russia and China recently spearheaded an effort to establish a new international reserve currency through the World Bank to augment or possibly replace the U.S. dollar.

Although U.S. Treasury Secretary Geithner told the House Financial Services Committee he would "unequivocally" oppose a new international reserve currency, at a Council on Foreign Relations meeting the the very next day he declared he was "open to supporting it." Clearly, Sec. Geithner dissumulated top the Hose.

In response, U.S. Representative Michele Bachman (MN-6) has introduced legislation barring the United States from recognizing or adopting a new currency without a Constitutional Amendment - a move clearly designed to prevent the Administration from using its treaty-making powers to impose a new, international currency upon the United States.

Because an international currency issued by the World Bank would be a major step towards creating a global government, we urge concerned citizens to sign and date the petition below and mail a hard copy to Congresswoman Bachmann to support her proposal:

    Dear Representative Bachmann:

Please know that I, the undersigned citizen and registered voter, am utterly opposed to granting the World Bank the authority to create a Global Currency of ANY sort, and that I strongly support your proposed legislation to bar the United States from recognizing or accepting World Bank/UN issued currency.

Please inform my Representative that their support or opposition to your bill will have an important bearing on my vote in the next election.

          Signed respectfully by ________ ____________________________________,
